This e-learning program is developed based on the procurement rules, procedures and manuals used for procurement of goods, works and services in the Gram Panchayats (Local Self Governments) in West Bengal state of India. This program will help West Bengal Gram Panchayat Peoples Representatives, Gram Panchayat staff, suppliers, contractors, consultants and other interested stakeholders learn the guidelines, standards and processes related to three major categories of procurement activities, namely:

•Procurement for Works
•Procurement of Goods and Materials
•Procurement of Services

This information is mainly aimed at strengthening and standardizing the knowledge base and practices in the GP procurement system across the State.
